He is proud of taking first place in a summer camp painter’s work contest called Świat w roku 2000 (World in the year 2000) (1974) and first place in voivodship contest for poster about People’s Army of Poland (1975). In 1983 he had his first individual drawing exhibition at the Gallery of Państwowe Liceum Plastyczne in Lodz (Gallery of the Public High School of Art).

He is a performer, painter and author of videos. He is a member of video punkt group and Gruse-Hajncel Group with Krzysztof Gruse (exhibition at Bielska Gallery BWA, 2008; Kantorek Gallery in Bydgoszcz, 2008; Manhattan Gallery, Lodz, 2009). He was twice the finalist of the Nationwide Painting Biennale Bielska Autumn (2003, 2005). He took part in many exhibitions and video performances, among others: Supermarket III , Warsaw, 2002;  Desant z Łodzi (Assault from Lodz), Modelarnia, Gdańsk, 2004; Baltic Gallery of Contemporary Art, Słupsk, 2004; Noc-art (Night-Art), Museum of Art in Lodz, 2006; International Art Festival Sault and wather, Kaliningrad, 2006; Mentality, Art Biennale in Lodz, 2006; Human-ex, exhibition in Art Propaganda Centre, Lodz, 2007; 4th International Festival of Visual Arts Inspiracje-Sacrum Profanum, Szczecin, 2008; the Dialogue of Four Cultures Festival, Lodz, 2008; Punkt video, Studio Gallery, Warsaw, 2009; Nietzsche body pain,  Sztukpol Gallery, Lodz, 2010; Inkubator, Łaźnia Centre for Contemporary Art, Gdańsk, 2010, Uniwersal, Studio Gallery, Warsaw 2010.

In 2008 he received a distinction award for an autobiographical comic in the contest organised by Gutek Film company and Wysokie Obcasy (High Heels) magazine.
