Born in 1948, Portsmouth, Hants England.
Between 1966-69 he studied at University of Edinburgh, earning MA in Fine Art and Mathematics. Between 1969-73 education at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Dundee where he earned DA Drawing and Painting. In years 1974-91 he was secondary teacher of Art and Design, PT McLaren HS. From 1991 he works as a community artist in Fife, Perth, Alloa, Falkirk, Stirling, making classes, workshops, lectures for students aged 5-95.
