Born in 1976 in Dębno Lubuskie, Poland.

In years 2002-2008 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (prof. Jarosław Modzelewski’s workroom of painting, prof. Grzegorz Kowalski’s workroom of audiovisual space). He creates video installations, documentary films and paintings. He was awarded with first place in Lech Tomaszewski’s Contest at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw and Ewa Tomaszewska’s Special Prize for his diploma.

In 2008 he was nominated to Politic’s Passport award in visual art category. He was awarded in the fifth edition of Samsung Art Master contest for work Zbliżenie (Close-up), which was exhibited, among others, in deserted cinemas (“Relax” Cinema, Warsaw, 2008, “Wenus” Cinema, Zielona Góra, 2009). His most important individual projects include also: Aldona, Small Lounge, Zachęta National Gallery of Fine Arts, Warsaw, 2007; 1976, The Institute of National Remembrance, “Wola Art” festival, Warsaw, 2007 and Serce (Heart), Cardic Department of Wolski Hospital (as a part of the project “Happiness”), Wola Art Festival, Warsaw, 2008. He took part in many group exhibitions and video performances, among others: Triennale Młodych (Young Triennale), Polish Sculpture Centre, Orońsko, 2004; Fighting Poland, Director’s Lounge, Berlin, Christine Koenig Gallery, Vienna Konstmuseum, Uppsala, 2006;  Pamięć tej chwili z odległości lat, które miną (Memory of this moment from the distance of the years, which will be gone), former Schindler Factory, Jewish Culture Festival, Cracow, 2007; Powstanie Sztuki (Uprising of Art), Elektrownia Centre for Contemporary Art, Radom, 2008; Under the Skin: New Video from Poland, New Museum, New York City, 2008; Szczyt bohaterów (Peak of Heroes), The Bunker of Art, Cracow; 2009; 9. Konkurs Gepperta „Malarstwo bez ram” („Painting without frames” Geppert’s Contest) (President of Wrocław Prize), Wrocław, 2009.

In 2009 he received the Minister of Culture and National Heritage Scholarship, at present he is a scholar of the Young Poland programme. He lives and works in Warsaw, Poland.
